Recently asked about the type of arbor and thread of diamond core bits used in construction and remodeling projects. 

Most core bits under 2" are 5/8" - 11 thread. 

Core bits 2" and greater are usually 1 1/4" - 7 thread.  

These machine threads are machine uniform coarse thread type.
